Assessments

Assessments for Primary & Secondary School Children
Full psychological assessments are available for primary and secondary school children between ages 6 years 0 months and 17 years old. The full assessment consists of:
- cognitive /IQ tests (measurement of child's intellectual functioning) and
- literacy tests (such as reading, writing and spelling).
It takes approximately 3 hours to complete the assessment. This includes an interview with the parent(s). prior to the beginning of the assessment. Our assessments are held in the mornings, when the children are performing at their optimal levels. The assessment will be conducted over 1 day at our centres.
The concluding session will be held on a separate day after the assessment. the psychologist will explain the assessment results to the parent(s). A written report, carrying the details of the assessment, findings and recommendations will be made available to parents in about four weeks time.
