1) Is my child Dyslexic?
A learning difficulty affects a person's ability to process, store or produce information and dyslexia is a language-based learning difficulty. A person with dyslexia may have difficulty with reading, spelling, processing what he or she hears or reads, in writing, sequencing and remembering. An unexpected gap exists between his or her potential for learning and school achievement. This gap is not the result of poor intelligence, "laziness", a lack of conventional teaching or visual/hearing disorders. Read More about Dyslexia

While parents are often the first ones to suspect that the child has a specific learning difficulty, this can be confirmed with an assessment by a psychologist. Assessment page
