Xian Hui has been with the DAS since 2015. She is currently registered with The Allied Health Professions Council. Her clinical experience includes working with children aged 3 to 16 years. Xian Hui provides assessment and intervention for learners with dyslexia and/or speech, language, and social communication difficulties. In addition, she is also involved in conducting lectures on speech and language therapy for the DAS Educational Therapists at the DAS Academy.

Xian Hui graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Master of Science (Speech and Language Pathology). She also completed her Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) in Psychology at NUS and a Specialist Diploma in Educational Therapy. Xian Hui has been trained to provide literacy intervention using the Orton Gillingham approach. Prior to being a Speech and Language Therapist, she was an Educational Therapist at DAS.

Xian Hui believes that an educator's words and actions can have a huge influence on a child's self-concept. Thus, she is strongly motivated to use this role that she has been given to help students believe in themselves and realise their potential.
