  • DAS Specialist Psychologists conduct assessments and diagnosis for preschool to adult clients.
  • DAS Educational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists provide support for over 3,000 preschool, primary and secondary school students in 14 venues all over Singapore.
  • The DAS Academy delivers professional training workshops and courses including a Masters in Special Educational Needs accredited by a recognised university from the UK.
  • Increasingly, the DAS will provide support for dyslexics who also suffer from other Specific Learning Differences such as ADHD, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia and Aspergers Syndrome.

Why Join DAS?

Potential for organisational growth. While the DAS provides support for over 3,000 students, it is estimated that there are 23,000 students from preschool to secondary school with dyslexia severe enough to warrant intervention. The DAS is therefore at the tip of the iceberg in terms of our potential client base. Additionally, there is tremendous potential for growth in the region as well as support for clients who suffer from associated specific learning differences.

Potential for individual growth. The DAS has grown in size by five times in the last seven years. In a rapidly growing organisation, opportunities abound for staff who are willing to take on challenges and responsibilities.

Emphasis on professional development. While a not for profit organisation, the DAS is first and foremost a professional organisation delivering professional services to our clients. Our emphasis in therefore on the continued professional development of ALL staff. Selected staff will also have opportunities for higher education scholarships as well as to pioneer research.

Commitment to fair employment practices. In 2013, the DAS signed the Tripartite Alliance for Fair & Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP) pledge, signifying our commitment to foster an inclusive workplace.
