BARCLAYS

The Barclays Reach Disability and Mental Health Network in Singapore is dedicated to bringing people together, creating an open and inclusive environment, and empowering individuals to reach their full potential. The Reach network engages with the community through various events, which includes raising funds such as their Annual Charity Quiz and Raffle. The 2017 event which took place in July was organized by Matt Oakley, Liz Bell, Jun Chua, Gerldine Sun and Doreen Fong, colleagues of the Reach network. It attracted over 120 participants forming 12 teams from across Barclays and other companies including Clifford Chance and Eversheds.  All proceeds raised, over SGD 23,000, inclusive of matched funding from Barclays, were donated to the Dyslexia Association of Singapore.

 


CARE & SHARE

Care & Share is a national fund-raising and volunteerism movement led by Community Chest for the social service sector, in celebration of SG50 this year. It aims to bring our nation together to show care and concern for the needy and recognise the contributions made by voluntary welfare organisations (VWOs). Eligible donations raised by Community Chest and participating VWOs from now till 31 Mar 2016 will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the government. The matched amount will go towards building the capabilities and capacities of the social service sector and supporting social services to meet rising needs.

Care & Share supports the English Exam Skills Programme, Maths Programme and the Chinese Programme.

KEPPEL CLUB

Boasting a strong culture of inclusiveness, Keppel Club has been giving back to the community through many CSR events, one of which is the high-profile Keppel Charity Golf that raises funds for 10 local charities annually. Started in the 1970s, Keppel Charity Golf has built momentum and garnered support from members and corporations over the years, and has raised over $1 million each year for five consecutive years, since 2013.

The Board makes charitable donations to projects that meet public, social, or health objectives, as well as initiatives that promote culture, art and sport in Singapore.
